Overclocking is a technique used to speed a computer’s processor without spending the time or money necessary to replace it. Most processors have the ability to go faster than advertised. This is because it is more cost effective for computer manufacturers to make a single processor with a range of options than it is for them to create several processors with different speeds. Step 1 Draw a series of vertical lines approximately 1 inch apart from each other. Draw another series of four horizontal lines spaced approximately 2 inches apart. Step 2 Label the resulting grid as follows: FSB (Front Side Bus), Crashed and Voltage. Leave the fourth box blank. Step 3 Boot up your computer system while holding down the “delete” key.
