How Do You Participate In The Nanowrimo Young Writers Program?
• Go to the Nanowrimo Young Writers Program’s website. Click on the sign up button. • You will be asked to pick a username , a password, and to provide an email address. You also will be asked to select the type of account you want, if you are a teacher signing up a class, or if you are a kid doing it on his or her own. Also you will have to read and agree with the terms of service. • Click “Create New Account”. • Work on your word count. Anytime during the month of October or November, you can edit your word count goal, and during November, you can edit how many words your novel is so far. • Consider preparing beforehand. You are allowed before hand, to write an outline, plot notes, or anything along those lines to help you during November, as long as you aren’t writing your novel before hand. • On November 1st, start writing your novel! • Everyday, try to write as much as you can, even if all you write is junk. Don’t worry about chapters; just keep writing the scenes you need to tell
