How Do You Pass The Taks Social Studies Test?
TAKS refers to the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills test. The Student Assessment Division of the Texas Education Agency (TEA) oversees the administration of TAKS tests in grades 3 through 11 in subject matters that include the English language, reading, writing, science, social studies and math. Students take the TAKS social studies test in grades 8, 10 and 11. Students can easily prepare for the TAKS tests by using the available study materials, improving their chances of passing the test. To “pass” the test, you will need to receive a score of “Commended Performance” or “Met the Standard” from the Texas Education Agency. Locate the TAKS Information Booklet for Social Studies for the appropriate grade level, available for download on the Texas Education Agency’s website.
