How Do You Perform Behind The Back Bo Staff Techniques?
Passing the Bo staff behind the back is a seemingly complex method of moving the pole from one hand to the other in between strikes. As you work with this technique, you will find your agility and dexterity with the Bo staff improving. This movement works great off your standard front spin, but can be performed out of a figure eight, helicopter or throw. If you’re looking to add a little more variation and visual interest to your performance, the behind-the-back technique is the perfect way to do just that. Hold the Bo staff in your right hand with an overhand grip, holding it out in front of you and parallel with the floor.
