• Before you have the party, make a list of invited guests and consider what their interests are in: music, movies, and other events you may want to have to make sure that interests of all the guests are considered for maximized fun. • Make sure that each guest feels a part of a group. While you are no longer in high school, your friends probably come from different social circles (i.e. work, religious group, friend from H.S.,) and will want to at least know someone other than the host. • Consider buying alcohol. Hopefully, your friends are responsible drinkers. Buy and prepare to mix great fun drinks. If your friends are pregnant, non-drinkers, or not trusted enough to drink at a party, prepare Shirley Temples or “virgin” drinks.
