How Do You Play Guitar With Effect Pedals?
• Check to see that your amp is plugged in to a power outlet. • Take all of the necessary cords to plug in your pedals from right to left • Leave the input on the far right pedal open, and the output of the far left pedal open as well. • After this check to see if your amp has an effects loop: • If your amp does have an effects loop, plug a cord into the effects loop send and attach the other side into the input on the far right pedal. After that attach another cord into the effects return and then into the output of the far left pedal. Then plug your guitar into the guitar input of your amplifier. If your amp does not have an effects loop, your set up will be much easier. Plug a cord into your guitar and then into the input of the far right pedal. Then plug another cable into the output of the far left pedal and then into the guitar input of your amplifier. • Now that you’re set up, turn on your amp and start playing. • The best way to create new sounds is to sit down for long periods
