If you love chess, but don’t have the time to sit down at a chess board for an entire game, or can’t find someone to play with, then GameKnot is the place for you. You can take up to two weeks to make your move! It’s like “Postal Chess” but for the computer age! Getting started on GameKnot is easy. Here’s how. Visit GameKnot.com (see Resources) and click on “Register”. You will only be asked for a username, password and your email address. You must be over 13 years old and accept GameKnot’s “Terms of Use”. There is a place to list who referred you to the site, if you choose to do so (see Resources). Next you will want to create your profile page. You can add an avatar, your location, age, gender, website, and any additional information you want to add. Now it’s time to play chess! There are two ways to start a game.
