Potty training can be a difficult stage for children. It has been said that girls are easier to train than boys. Boys require more time training and effort most likely due to the fact that he doesn’t care if his diaper is wet or soiled. Take steps to properly train a boy quickly and easily. First, pick up books at your local library on potty training. Sit down with your young boy and read them together. Explain to him why it’s important to use a potty toilet because he is not a baby anymore. Next, have him try to sit on the potty at least every hour while he is still learning. This is important so you can catch him before he goes in his pants. Make a sticker chart for your boy. Each time he successfully goes on the potty give him a sticker. Let him know that when he fills up a line on his chart he will get a special reward like a toy he wants or a trip to McDonalds.
