First you want to make sure they’re dirt free. It’s best to wash the prewashed kind. Just to make sure, you want to rub them. Make sure all the dirt is off and any extra pieces that shouldn’t be there. Some people don’t like to wash the mushrooms. They say it ruins the taste, so one way you can do this by immersing your mushrooms in the water. That way the debris will come right off, then pull it up, and dry it off with a towel. What we’re going to do is we’re going to turn it to the side. Slice down. Don’t make the pieces too small. You don’t want them too big either. That’s a good size. Do the next one.
