How Do You Prepare The Tomatoes For Meatless Lasagna?

“Hi! This is Josiah Owens with Expert Village and today we’re going to be talking about making meatless lasagna. Now we’re going to talk about chopping our tomatoes for our lasagna. First of all, you want to cut of the top little piece where the stem was on each one. Go ahead and get this out of the way. What you want to do is you want to cut it in half lengthwise, and then cut them width wise. Don’t make them too big, but you’ll need for them to be too small. Give it some texture. This should be fine. We’re going to want about 2 cups of these, so about 5 or 6 small tomatoes. Any tomato is fine. It’s up to you. Stay clear from the cherry or the grape tomatoes. Roma probably works best.
