How do you prevent an angora sweater from shedding/pilling?

Hand wash with hair shampoo and rinse with conditioner conditioner. Remember, it is made of natural hair not synthetic fibers or cotton. I use a dog brush, the wire bristle kind, to brush the sweater to get the pillings off or to untangle them and it is best while it is still wet after you rinse the conditioner out. Lay it flat while you brush lightly. I have 2 that are about 3 and 5 yrs old and every year everyone comments about where did I get the “new” sweater. Using shampoo and conditioner also gets rid of that animal smell from the fibers. Enjoy the fuzzy sweater. I love mine.
