How Do You Prevent Clogging Of Sinks, Bathtubs, Drains, Etc?

0

There are 3-4 sinks and bathtubs on average in a household. Daily regular use of them results in accumulation of hair, food, dirt, etc., in the plumbing. Without regular cleaning, pipes will get clogged up. It makes sense to maintain them regularly to avoid paying a plumber in the future. Inspect and remove any visible hair, food, dirt, etc., from the sink and drain. Use a thin wire to hook any hair out from the bathtub. You have to remove the cap of the drain first by using a screw driver. Pour 1/4 cup baking soda down the drain. It may not go down immediately. Slowly brush them down by hand (with gloves on). It may take a minute or two for it to go down completely. Next, pour 1/2 cup of white vinegar down the drain. A chemical reaction will occur between and baking soda and the vinegar. You will see some gas popping out. Wait about 10 minutes. Pour half gallon of hot water down the drain to flush it out. Repeat the above steps every month and you’ll have some healthy sinks and drains
