Ensure that you follow the post extraction or post surgical instructions. • Maintain proper dental hygiene so as to prevent food lodging in the tooth extraction site. • Eat a cold or liquid diet for 24 hours after the extraction. • Avoid spitting. Do not spit until after 24 hours of extraction. • Avoid touching the wound. Do not try touch the wound with your fingers or tongue. • Avoid using a straw. Avoid creating suction. • Use a warm saline rinse. Do warm saline rinses after 3rd day of extraction. Avoid strenuous exercise.
