Panasonic DVD recorders are similar to VCRs in that you can record television programming to removable media. If you want to record a television program that is broadcast at a future time and date, program the DVD recorder to start and stop recording at the appropriate times. The program is recorded to a blank DVD disc, which you can play back at your leisure. Turn on the television and set it to the appropriate input channel for operating the Panasonic DVD recorder. Insert a blank DVD into the DVD recorder. Press the “Schedule” button on the remote control to access the recording schedule. Highlight “New Scheduled Recording” with the up or down arrow button and press the “OK” button. A new screen will appear with several settings for your recording.
