The Philips Magnavox PM4S universal remote will control numerous different devices, like your VCR or television set. Using the one Philips Magnavox universal remote to control these devices lets you put away the other remote controls in your home. You will first need to program the Philips Magnavox PM4S remote with the devices you own before you can start using that remote. As with other similar universal remotes, the Philips remote can be programmed via the “Code Search” programming mode.
