In any game of hockey, the helmet is the player’s last line of defense against serious injury so a good fit is essential. Determine your hat size. Wrap a soft measuring tape (like the ones used for dressmaking or tailoring) around the widest part of your head about an inch or so above the eyebrows. Pull the tape snug and round the measurement to the nearest eighth of an inch. Match your head’s circumference to the corresponding helmet size for each manufacturer; their sizes may vary.
