Transporting a horse is an important part of horse ownership. Many horse owners travel to competitions and even backyard horse owners will have to transport their horses to the vet at some point, so knowing how to pull a trailer is necessary. In recent years, Toyota has produced a number of pickups that are large enough to pull a horse trailer, including the Tundra. Pulling horse trailers with the new Toyota Tundra is not difficult and will allow you to haul your horse anywhere. Schedule an appointment with your mechanic to have a tow hitch installed on your Tundra. Tow hitches come in a variety of sizes designated by how much they can safely tow, although you should have at least a class IV hitch installed to safely haul your horse trailer.
