Determine the square footage of the room by multiplying its length by its width. Be sure you have enough tiles to cover the entire area. Sweep then mop the entire floor to remove dust and dirt. Apply a thin layer of primer to the floor and allow to dry. Determine the center point of the room by finding the midway distance between the length and width. Place the tiles onto the floor beginning at the center point. Continue to lay them in a straight line until you reach the wall then lay the tiles along the wall. You should have formed an “L” shape.
