Put up a party tent for shaded service outdoors. Party tents are commonly used by vendors at events for displays and demonstrations. Restaurants often set up outdoor bar service under one of these temporary canopies. These collapsible frame tents come in one piece with the canopies attached from 10 by 10 to 10 by 20 foot sizes. Two people can set one up in less than five minutes. How to Put Up a Party Tent Step 1 Pull the tent out of the carrying bag. Place it in the center of the set up area with the canopy up.
