How Do You Quick Freeze Fresh Fruits & Vegetables?
Individual quick freezing is the fastest, and most effective way to freeze, and preserve fresh fruits that were bought during the peak of the season. This method will help keep food fresh, as well as lower your food costs because it will allow the buyer to purchase larger amounts, and then freeze for later when the cost of these items rise Go to the market of your choosing, and purchase foods that you enjoy in larger quantities than you might normally buy. Wash all fruits & vegetables to be sure they are clean before storing. Remove stems, hulls, seeds, pits, etc… Place on flat sheet with at least 1/8 of an inch between each item. Put it in the freezer until product is frozen (freezing times will vary due to size). Once frozen transfer into storage bags, and remove excess air (via vacuum sealing, or just pressing the air out). Store until ready to use, and then enjoy fresh food when needed.
