How do you quit a job under extreme personal reasons?

I don’t know your extreme personal reason, so i don’t want to step over you. But if you have been looking for a job for 6 months, and only been at this job for one month, I would recommend not quitting. Regarding using your boss as a reference, just ask them. Ask them would be okay to use them as a reference later on. You leave on good terms if you leave on your own for something better and you weren’t fired or about to be. You should always ask them to be a reference though because you don’t want them to say something bad. To make sure you can come back, just ask your boss wold you be eligible for rehire. If you leave on good tersm then you should be fine. If you find a new job, just say you left your previous job because there was a scheduling conflict or you found something better. Don’t make any stupid complaints about your old job. Two weeks notice is good for qutting. For your siutation, if you must quit, tell your boss about your personal circumastance and why you need to quit.
