Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader are programs that let you view and print Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Adobe Reader is able to read just about any PDF, including PDF files created with Foxit, as long as the file is not corrupted. The process for reading a typical PDF in Adobe Reader is simple. Download Adobe Reader using the link found in the Resources section. Double-click the installer once it is finished downloading, then click “Next” through the installation steps until the installation is complete. Open Adobe Reader. Click “Help,” then “Check for Updates” to ensure that you are using the latest version. An Internet connection is required to check for updates. Click “File,” then “Open.” Alternatively, type Ctrl+O instead of clicking on “Open”. Browse to the folder containing the PDF that you wish to open. Select the PDF by double-clicking on it. Adobe Reader will now display the PDF.
