The pharmaceutical industry is a growing field for pharmacists to work in. Instead of the traditional roles within a hospital or retail setting, pharmaceutical industry pharmacists work in a fast paced office setting working in management, research, and marketing. You will first need to gain acceptance into Pharmacy School (PharmD degree). Factors for admissions include GPA, PCAT scores (some schools don’t require it-check my other articles for a full list), interview performance, supplemental essays, letter of recommendations, and work experience (non-relevant work experience works too).
