The Ventura County Fair in California is an annual community driven event usually occurring in August, filled with entertainment, art, live music, carnival rides, horse shows and more, made possible through generous economic and cultural contributions of fellow community residents. All of the art at the Ventura County Fair is purely local. Residents register their art, whether it is amateur art, professional art, or art of the youth, with hopes of sharing it with others without compensation in return.
