How Do You Relax In Guanajuato, Mexico?
Located near San Miguel de Allende, in the Mexico’s highlands, Guanajuato offers great weather and cultural charm. Home to a large university, it is full of vibrant culture. Take as much time as you can to immerse yourself in this wonderful city. Sample an outdoor cafe on the main square, Jardin de la Union, for lunch. Catch a cold beer and an opportunity to watch the people in the heart of the city. Take a nap, or siesta, in the warm afternoon hours. There are a number of hotels within walking distance of the main tourist areas, so plan to stay where a nap is easy to fit in. Wander about to one of the many other plazas. Some options are Plaza de San Fernando, el Jardin de la Reforma and the Plaza San Roque. There are many to choose from and all have fountains with benches or cafes with outdoor seating.
