Reach for a credit card or needle, not tweezers! Using tweezers to remove a sting will only squeeze the stinger and pump more venom into the victim’s body. Disinfect the object you are going to use with rubbing alcohol. Scrape the stinger out. Carefully and gently scrape the needle, credit card, or other sharp object over the area in a direction that will “push” the stinger out, applying a very slight pressure, until the singer has been removed.
