Screen burn-in can occur on a plasma screen TV when you watch videos or movies that do not take up the entire screen. This can occur when watching a movie in widescreen format so that there are black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Often, this can leave an image artifact on the screen over time. An image artifact is when pixels become stuck on the screen. You can remove burn-in from a plasma TV by using a software utility called JScreenFix. Connect your Plasma TV to your computer’s video card using an RCA video cable. Plug one end of the cable into the video input on the plasma TV and plug the other end into the video output on your computer’s video card. Turn on the plasma TV.
