The assembly on the 1997 Corolla is easy to remove with common hand tools. Open the hood of your Toyota Corolla. Remove the screws retaining the headlight bezel using a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the bezel from around the headlight assembly. Locate the four small screws securing the headlight assembly to the car. Do not remove the larger screws because these are aiming screws.
