How Do You Remove A Mildew Smell From A Car?

0

There can be nothing worse than being trapped in a car on a rainy or cold day when the windows have to be up and being bombarded with the horrible smells of mildew. Luckily there is a simple solution to help clear the air…and it won’t require a pine scented air freshner. The first thing you want to do is vacuum out your car. Your best, and most cost effective way to do this is at home. (You’ll be using your vacuum again in step 3) Next sprinkle baking soda on the mildewed areas. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes. If the weather is cooperating and it is sunny, open the windows. Now grab your vacuum and vacuum up the baking soda. If the area is dry skip to step 5, if not…. Use a sponge or towels to help dry the spot. Now you’re ready for your bowls. The amount of bowls needed will depend on the size of your car and the extent of the mildew. Pour vinegar into the bowls and let sit overnight.
