How Do You Remove A Rear Door Panel On A 1994 Grand Marquis?
If you need to replace a rear speaker or fix the internal door components in your Grand Marquis, you will need to remove the door panel. Removing the rear door panel is easier than removing the front, because it has no electrical components to work with. This tutorial applies to the 1994 Grand Marquis and will work for all 1992 through 1998 models. Use the trim panel tool or a flathead screwdriver to pry off the plastic end covers from the door pull handle. Remove the screws from each side of the door pull handle. Remove the door pull handle and set it aside. Pull the interior door handle towards you and remove the screw behind it. Use the trim panel tool or flathead screwdriver to pry the door cup panel off. Slip the panel around the door handle. Remove the screw from the front pillar, closest to the front of the vehicle, and then remove the screw a few inches below it.
