How Do You Remove A Stereo From A Acura RSX?

0

The factory stereo in an Acura RSX can be upgraded if you want a better audio experience while driving. Even though Acura offers a premium Bose sound system as standard equipment on the RSX, you might want a custom stereo system. Or if you want to race your Acura RSX, you’ll probably want to remove the stereo from your Acura RSX altogether. Whatever you choose, you’ll need to know how to go about removing it. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. To do this, turn the retaining nut on the cable’s clamp counterclockwise until the clamp is loose enough for you to pull the clamp off the battery terminal. Place the rag over the tip of the screwdriver and wedge the screwdriver tip behind the bezel that surrounds the radio/CD player. Pry the bezel out of place gently using the screwdriver. It should pop right off without much trouble. Remove the screws holding the radio/CD player in place. Pull the head unit (radio/CD player) out of the dash. Unplug the electrical connector
