When you live in a busy household, one of your tasks every now and then is to remove the toilet paper holder so you can add a fresh roll of toilet paper onto the holder. The toilet paper holder itself is a spring-loaded cylinder that fits into two holes on either side of a wall-mounted holder. When toilet paper is loaded onto the cylinder through the cardboard center of the paper roll, and the cylinder is remounted into its wall sockets, the toilet paper will roll easily from its position. Here’s how to remove the toilet paper holder when you’re ready to restock the paper. Put your hand over the empty toilet paper tube that is on top of the toilet paper holder. Squeeze your hand around both the cardboard tube and the hard wooden or metal cylinder that is threaded through the cardboard tube underneath.
