The high-pressure line in your Toyota Corolla allows the power steering fluid to flow through the hydraulic component under high pressure. The power steering pump will not function properly with a damaged high-pressure line. Low power steering pump fluid will cause leaking and damage to the high-pressure line and to the power steering pump. Open the hood of the Toyota Corolla and remove the pulley in front of the power steering pump using a wrench. Raise the front end of the car with a jack and lower the front end onto jack stands. Place a drain container under the power steering pump. Use the line wrench to remove the power steering high-pressure line from the power steering pump. Follow the line to the opposite end from underneath the car and disconnect that end using the line wrench. Connect the new high-pressure line under the car in the same place as the old line was.
