Whether you work in a private dental office or in a Dental school, this easy method will save you time in cleaning the alginate and/or stone off of your impression trays. Put on your personal protective equipment which includes but is not limited to the following: Protective gown, Goggles, Mask, and Gloves. Nitrile gloves are considered thicker and stronger but any glove that completely protects your hands and wrists from splashes is preferred. Prepare your work space by getting the container that can be sealed with a lid. And have paper towels ready to clean up any spills. You can purchase Coe Tray Remover Powder from most Dental supply vendors. Measure out two capfuls of powder and pour them into a minimum 1 quart container. Add 1 quart of warm/hot tap water.
