How Do You Remove An Iced Tea Stain?
Ice tea is a popular summertime drink renowned for its refreshing quality. However, ice tea has a tendency to discolor pitchers and cups. Although stubborn tea stains can seem impossible to dislodge, there are a few cleaning agents that you likely already have. Both baking soda and salt are very effective for removing stains when they are used correctly. Soak the stain in hot water to loosen the deposits as much as you can. Mix baking soda and warm water to make a thick paste. Apply it generously to the tea stain and allow it to sit for five minutes. Use a soft scrub brush to work the paste into the stain and rinse with warm water. Repeat as necessary until the stain is gone. For set in or very stubborn stains, wet the stain with warm water and sprinkle a generous amount of salt directly onto it. Use a soft cloth to scrub the salt into the stain. Rinse the article thoroughly.
