How Do You Remove Black Scuff Marks From White Patent Leather Boots Or Shoes?
Don’t throw out those scuffed boots! White patent leather boots and shoes seem to acquire those nasty black scuff marks so easily, and they can completely ruin your look. Don’t fret though, you can make them look like new again in less than five minutes with a product you probably have in your bathroom right now. If your boots are dirty, then first wipe them down with the damp washcloth to remove any debris. Pour a little nail polish remover onto your cotton ball and then rub the scuff marks in a circular motion. I only use non acetone nail polish remover, so I don’t know if the kind with acetone would work the same or if it would damage your boots. If you decide to use it, proceed with caution. If the cotton ball becomes dirty, get a new one and repeat until the black marks are gone. The boot in the pictures required 3 cotton balls. The nail polish remover may leave a sticky residue on your boots, so wipe them down with a damp washcloth when you are done. Voila! They look like new!
