How Do You Remove Bubble Gum From A Clothes Dryer?

0

This happened to me recently. SOMEHOW, SOMEONE left pink bubble gum in their pants pockets. Of course, upon questioning it was determined that Mr. Nobody had done it. Gum was all over the interior dryer drum and some of the clothing. Open up the dryer door, remove any clothing inside and let the drum cool completely. Put several pieces of ice in a plastic sandwich bag. Apply the ice to a spot of the bubble gum and let the gum harden. Insert a blade into the scraper. Using the scraper, apply light pressure to remove the gum. Don’t press too hard, you don’t want to scrape off the finish off the inside of the dryer. Gently turn the drum with your hands and continue scraping until the gum is removed. Spray a vinegar and water solution inside the drum and wipe clean. Here’s how to make the solution : http://www.ehow.com/how_4490987_green-clean-around-home.html. See Step 1.
