How Do You Remove Crayon From The Inside Of A Dryer?
If a crayon is left in a pocket of an article of clothing and run through the dryer, the heat from the dryer will cause the crayon to melt, resulting in quite a mess on the inside of the dryer. Luckily, removing crayon from a dryer looks a lot more difficult than it is, requiring just a few household items and some elbow grease. Use a plastic spatula to carefully pry the melted crayon from the dryer. Remove the chunks with your hands once they have been pried off. Wipe down the interior of the dryer with an unused dryer sheet soaked with warm water. Switch to a fresh dryer sheet once one becomes soiled with crayon. Wipe down the interior of the dryer with a damp rag. Follow up with a dry rag. Apply a lubricating spray such as WD-40 to a rag, then rub directly over the crayon mark. Use some force while scrubbing. Wash the interior of the dryer with a rag and soapy water to remove any traces of the lubricating spray, as well as any crayon residue.
