How Do You Remove Crayon Stains From Upholstery?
Crayons and upholstery do not mix. Once a mark is made, the stain can be very difficult to remove. Here are some simple steps to get rid of the unsightly markings on your upholstery. Scrape off excess crayon with the dull edge of a knife. Spray the affected area of upholstery with WD-40 or another car part lubricant. Leave the lubricant on for 3 minutes. Use a stiff bristle brush to scrub the stain. Wipe the area with paper towels. Respray the surface with the WD-40. Apply liquid dishwashing soap to the area. Continue to use the bristle brush and work the soap in a circular motion. Wipe the stain with a damp sponge. Repeat Steps 6 through 9 if necessary.
