Before you throw away your child’s favorite shirt, there are a few things you can try to remove that stain and save the shirt. Try using rubbing alcohol to remove the stain. Test the rubbing alcohol on an inconspicuous section of the fabric first to ensure that it does not damage the fabric. Put a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a washcloth and gently blot the stain. Every time you pour out fresh rubbing alcohol, use a new, clean section of the washcloth. Launder as usual once the stain has been removed.
