Leather is an expensive material that is often protected and cared for as if it is delicate. Which leads many people to believe that leather cannot be repaired or cleaned at home. When leather is stained with enamel paint, you can remedy the situation. Leather is quite durable and with a little elbow grease and a few supplies found in your kitchen, you can clean even enamel paint off of your favorite leather pieces. Apply a small amount of virgin olive oil to the enamel paint stained leather. Allow the olive oil to sit on the leather for approximately five minutes. Scrub at the stain in a circular motion with a toothbrush. This step can take from five minutes to an hour to remove the paint, depending on how large the stain is. You may need to scrub hard to get the stain to lift. Wipe away the olive oil with a damp cloth once the stain is removed.  more
