How Do You Remove Fingernail Polish Stain From Carpet?
It was difficult getting to sleep last night, because your teenage daughter had a half a dozen girls over for a slumber party. There was lots of giggling and laughing going on. It doesn’t take long to discover one thing they were doing – putting on nail polish. That is obvious by the nail polish stain in the middle of the carpet in your daughter’s room. Unfortunately you can’t hide it under a piece of furniture, considering its location. Don’t despair – it is possible to remove some or all of the stain. Hold ice on the nail polish stain to make it more brittle, without getting it wet from melting ice. Chip away at the hardened nail polish, removing it from the carpet fibers. Reapply fresh (non-melting) ice to the nail polish, so it stays brittle as you chip it from the carpet with your fingers. Pour a little acetone onto a paper towel to moisten.
