How Do You Remove Fluorescent Light Starter?
Fluorescent lights are a long-lasting, durable lighting option that is popular in office buildings, public buildings and even in some homes. Although most fluorescent lights will last for over 20 years, eventually they begin to exhibit problems. When a fluorescent light begins to flicker frequently or fails to come on at all, the problem is most likely caused by a faulty starter. Removing the starter from a fluorescent light is an extremely easy task to perform. Step 1 Place a ladder underneath the fluorescent light and climb onto it to access the light fixture. Step 2 Open the fluorescent light cover by locating the metal tabs along the fixture’s edge and sliding them toward the light fixture. Step 3 Grasp both ends of the fluorescent light tube with your hands and gently pull downward to remove the light from the fixture.
