How do you remove gas tank on yamaha vstar 1100 motorcycle?
It’s easy to take the tank off this model bike. Remove the seat, then you will see the two bolts that hold the rear of the tank. Turn the gas tank selector valve to “off” then remove the fuel line. When you start to lift the tank off the two front rubber tank locators you will see the wire bundle that comes back to the under-seat area from the speedometer. Disconnect it at the plug and the tank will lift off easily.
