How Do You Remove Grease Stains From Rayon Polyester Sofa Fabric?
Though you’ve made it abundantly clear that eating on the couch is forbidden, someone did it anyway; now there’s a grease stain the size of Guam on your new rayon and polyester blend sofa. Well, maybe not that big, but it sure seems that way as you gaze upon your pretty new couch, and the giant grease stain stares back at you. Grease stains are more inconvenient than anything else. Keeping that in mind, removing them is a breeze. Blot up a fresh grease stain with paper towels, and scrape away residual grease with a plastic utensil from an older grease stain. Cover the stain with baking soda if it is fresh. If the stain is older, dampen it with WD-40, and apply the baking soda. Allow the baking soda to sit on the stain for at least an hour. If possible, allow it to sit overnight. Vacuum up the baking soda with the brush attachment of the vacuum cleaner. Apply a small amount of grease-cutting dish soap to the area if there is any residual stain remaining, and work it in with a clean clot
