How Do You Remove Gum Or Melted Crayon From The Clothes Dryer?

Okay, who forgot to check the pockets? Remember that stick of gum you shoved in your jeans? Now it is stuck inside the clothes dryer. And remember when you took little Billy’s crayon away, because he was about to draw on the wall? Maybe you shouldn’t have put that in your shirt pocket. Oh the messes we create! Set the dryer temperature to warm. Put a couple of old towels in the dryer and let it run for a few minutes. This will help loosen the glop. While the towels are warming up in the dryer, mix about a tablespoon of laundry detergent with a little bit of water, to create a paste. Take the towels out of the dryer. Use the detergent paste on a rag, and scrub the gum or crayon area. After the glop has been removed, wipe down the inside of the dryer for any remaining residue. Dry some damp, clean rags in the dryer to make sure all the glop is gone.
