How Do You Remove IE Cache Tracking Cookies?

0

Cookies are temporary Internet files that store browsing information and activity such as user names and passwords. When you sign in automatically to a website, that site is using a cookie to remember your information. However, some websites employ tracking cookies that will record your browsing behavior and put your privacy at risk. One way to prevent this is by deleting all cookies regularly (at least once a week). Open your Internet Explorer browser and click on the icon of a gear on the upper right-hand side of the screen that says “Tools”. Scroll down the list of menu items to select and choose “Internet Options”. Click the menu tab that says “General”. Click “Delete” under “Browsing History”. Click “Delete Cookies” next to “Cookies”. Click “Yes” when the window asks you if you are sure if you want to delete all cookies. Click “Close” and then “OK” to exit the Internet Options menu.
