Flatten out the ink-stained area of the pocketbook so that there are no wrinkles in the leather. Spray a small amount of hairspray on the ink stain. Allow the hairspray to penetrate the stain for about one minute. Use a clean, dry cloth to firmly rub the hairspray into the ink stain. You should see the ink transfer onto the cloth from the pocketbook. Place a dab of isopropyl alcohol on a clean, white dry cloth if the hairspray did not take the ink stain out of the leather.
