How Do You Remove Ink From Cloths, Furniture, Etc?

This is the best (home-made) way to get ink out of cloths and other materials. I have used it for years and it has not failed me yet. I was even able to get a stain that was several days old out of my cloths. This method is safe and can be done with on hand household items. It can even be done in a hurry. Spray ink stain with aerosol hairspray, any brand, for at least 10 second. You should start to see the ink coming off into the hairspray. Clear away hairspray by wiping/scrubbing stain with a paper towel or wash old wash cloth. Check the ink stain. If still visible repeat step one and two until ink is completely gone. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP! Once the stain in gone you must wash the hairspray from the material. Rinse treated area thoroughly, or wash immediately after removing ink stain. Failure to do so may result in a water ring where the hairspray soaked in.
