Being able to customize the appearance of your troops is great fun, but there may be times when you want to go back and change the look of a squad you already painted. Removing the paint from the metal miniatures is the best way to go about changing the look of your army without losing any of the detail of the miniature. Place the miniatures into a plastic container with a lid, and while wearing rubber gloves, pour the engine cleaner/degreaser into the container until the figures are completely covered. Cover the container with the lid and store it with the models and the solution in a safe place and wait at least 12 hours. Put on the rubber gloves and carefully remove the miniatures from the container. While holding the miniatures under hot running water, scrub them with a toothbrush.
